We are happy to connect with you through “Western Ghat
Researcher Association of Agricultural Sciences and Technology -
RAAST” (Registered under Section 8 Organization, Ministry of
Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India) which is governed by renowned
academicians and industrialists. They have done various research and
social activities with support of PROSPER Foundation, Theni,
Tamil Nadu for the last 20 years.
It is worthful to mention that RAAST is established to create Industry
– Academic Connect Forum in Educational Institutions for enriching
knowledge of the students as well as faculty members. In addition to
that we are collaborating and recognizing the performance of young
innovators and senior scientists for the purpose of updating their
knowledge in the field of interdisciplinary domains.

Section 8 Organisation under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of

Our Mission
The Western Ghat Researcher Association of Agricultural Sciences and Technology likely focuses on promoting research and innovation in agricultural practices within the Western Ghats region. Its mission may include:
1. Sustainable Development Practices: Promoting environmentally friendly developmental practices in Agriculture and Allied Sciences and Technology that conserve biodiversity and natural resources.
2. Research and Development: The Research and Development (R&D) focus of the Association may include several key areas: Agroecological Practices, Crop Diversification, Climate Resilience, Pest and Disease Management, Post-Harvest Technologies, Food Technologies, Socioeconomic Studies, Collaboration with Local Institutions andExtension Services. By focusing on these areas, the association aims to drive innovation and developmentof new technologies, that is sustainable, equitableand tailored to the unique challenges of our nation.
3. Education and Training: Providing training programs for farmers, entrepreneurs, students, researchers, faculties and professionals to adopt modern techniques and sustainable practices.
4. Policy Advocacy: Engaging with policymakers to advocate for research-backed agricultural and allied sciences and technology policies that benefit to our nation
